Google has made some new announcements related to its Cloud Next ‘24 in which 5 new features have been added. We have already shared all the information with you about one of these features. In this, you can make a video of your workplace from the dock of your Google Cloud and can also share it with the help of Google Vids. Apart from this, four other features have also been added all the information of which is given in detail-
Translate into the Google Meet
Under this feature, you can automatically translate captions in more than one language in Google Meet. In this, you have to turn on translated captions during the video call already in the workspace and also select the language which you want to translate. In this feature, you will find languages from all over the world.
It will be extremely helpful for users to communicate. You can also use many other features in the Meet update coming in June, in which you will be able to do automatic translation and it will automatically detect the captions. In addition to this translation, you can add translated caption support for 52 new languages bringing the total number of supported languages to 69.
These Meet and Chat features will be available to you for $10 per month along with a new AI Meetings and Massaging add-on. These AI meetings and Massaging can also be added to select workspace plans.
Protected important documents with AI security add-on
In its next features, you can protect sensitive files with the new AI security add-on. This feature helps automatically identify, classify, and protect company-wide sensitive files in your Google Drive, giving you a secure backup of your documents.
This feature uses privacy-preserving AI models to train your documents using unique data from third parties. It provides continuous evaluation, classification, and protection of existing old and new files available in the drive. This new AI protection is also available for select Workspace plans for $10 per month.
Organize information with new sheets and dock features
In this third new feature, Sheets and Docs are getting a new table that you can use to format and organize data in an attractive, updated design. It can also help organize related information from your docs in a single document. In this, you can also choose the template as per your wish from the new set of building blocks.
Additionally, this feature covers everything from project management to event planning and inventory management so you never have to create a spreadsheet again. This feature will be available in all workspace plans in the coming weeks. The company is also making it easier to personalize documents with full-bleed cover images that span across your browser. This feature will also be available to all Docs users soon.
Some new features have also found place in Gmail
To make your work easier on Gmail, voice prompting is being added so you can write a message using your voice to send an email from your Gmail App and it will respond to it. With the help feature the user will save a lot of time.
The inclusion of Gemini in Gmail helps convert notes into more complete email drafts in a single click that won’t require any type of prompting. These features will be available to Gemini Enterprise and Gemini Business customers as well as Google One AI Premium customers.
