This is the major upgrade for the device, and the fan community of the brand is eagerly waiting for the stable version of Nothing OS 2.5 update. During the announcement of Open Beta 2, the brand also revealed the look at the upcoming three new widgets for its smartphones, which are coming in December.
The brand is offering three new widgets for enhancing the users’ experience at their convenience, which are as follows;
- Pedometer widget
- Media Player widget
- Screen Time widget
Widgets are tiny cards that show dynamic content from the user’s favorite applications and services on your Windows desktop. How these three widget will work and help the users mentioned below;
The pedometer widget permits the users to set and monitor their daily steps with a range of 0% to 100%. It will track steps and add a fun element with its progress and enhanced visualization. The users also have the power to swipe up on the widget to view the average weekly or monthly step counts.
Jumping on the media player widget will display the interaction with music and podcasts. Users can play or pause the media by clicking on the widget. While swiping vertically, it displays audio information. While swiping horizontally, the user can skip the tracks forward or backward.
And the screen time widget is made to monitor the time spent on the home screen. The users will appear as a playful characters, showing whether they have exceeded their daily screen time limit. Additionally, if the users swipe vertically, it will show more detailed information on screen time.
These three new widgets will be added to Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2) along with the latest update of the Nothing Widgets application or probably through the forthcoming Nothing OS 2.5 update.
