With the Pixel June 2023 Drop feature update, Google updated its Camera application for Pixel 6 series. Pixel 7 series phones will now let you take Auto-timed photos by simply raising your palm to trigger the timer after setting it for 3 or 10 seconds. This new feature is beneficial if you want to take a selfie but are away from your phone and deliver a hands-free photo experience.

How to take hands-free photos on a Pixel phone?
You can use the hands-free feature by following these easy steps-
- Open the Camera.
- In the Quick Settings menu, select Timer Mode (for 3 or 10 seconds)
- Now Raise your palm to activate and wait until the square flips up, then the timer is activated.
Notably, the hands-free feature is available for both the front as well as rear cameras; now, you can take amazing selfies with this new feature.
