Google has started rolling out the Pixel June 2023 Drop feature for Pixel devices with lots of new features and improvements. Google’s latest feature drop introduces new security features, improves the camera experience and brings new wallpaper options. Pixel June 2023 Feature Drop: Hands-free Photos Experience

With the Pixel June 2023 Drop feature update, Google updated its Camera application for Pixel 6 series. Pixel 7 series phones will now let you take Auto-timed photos by simply raising your palm to trigger the timer after setting it for 3 or 10 seconds. This new feature is beneficial if you want to take a selfie but are away from your phone and deliver a hands-free photo experience.

For your information, this hand-free photo ability first comes with the Pixel Fold. This Google’s first foldable phone comes with the perfect camera features that you can expect from Google. With the unique camera experience, it has 5x optical zoom, natural skin tone, night mode and portrait photography with Pro level modes. How to take hands-free photos on a Pixel phone?

You can use the hands-free feature by following these easy steps-

  • Open the Camera.
  • In the Quick Settings menu, select Timer Mode (for 3 or 10 seconds)
  • Now Raise your palm to activate and wait until the square flips up, then the timer is activated.

Notably, the hands-free feature is available for both the front as well as rear cameras; now, you can take amazing selfies with this new feature.
