Nothing, one of the most popular electronic manufacturers, has introduced another addition to its game-changing OS. Soon after the launch of Nothing OS 2.0, the brand introduced its most significant update, the Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 1, for its most excellent device, the Nothing Phone (1).

The Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 1 update has arrived with a collection of significant new features that will make your smartphone experience much better and more efficient. Along with the official rollout on the Phone (2), the brand is currently testing the Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 1 update on the Phone (1). 

The Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 1 update, which is based on Android 14, came with some exciting new features and enhancements, alongside other improvements and customizations. These features and enhancements include several customizations, gesture enhancements, the addition of solid colour options for wallpapers, new widgets, and several other exciting improvements. 

Do note that since this latest update is currently running in its beta phase, it’s highly recommended that you create a backup of all your important data before downloading the latest update. 

Other than that, here’s how you can get involved in the Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 1 update:

  • Make sure that you have installed the latest Nothing OS version. 
  • Then, Download the APK link and install it from the downloads section on your device.
  • Now go to Settings >> System >> Update to Beta version.
  • Then, you need to tap on the Check for New Version option. 
  • Now, follow the on-screen steps.
