Google to Fix Pixel’s Scrolling Stutter With Android 15

Google’s Pixel phones are widely popular, with their great performance excellence, but quite some time people have been experiencing certain issues regarding software traits such as scrolling stutter, which is prominently noticed especially on Pixel Pro devices. Following this issue, Google has made a promise to fix this scrolling stutter on Pixel phones with the upcoming Android 15.

Although the majority of Pixel owners have been suffering from the scrolling stutter on their respective Pixel phones for years, within the Android 14 update, numerous Pixel owners have reported that they have been severely suffering from the similar scrolling stutter during the beta phase, and with that, now the company is up here with a fix, a year later.

The scrolling stutter on Pixel devices was first noticed back in October last year when someone noticed that certain scrolling animations were stuttering on Pixel 8 Pro running Android 14 Beat build version. Also, the majority of other Pixel owners came off with similar issues, which certainly signifies that this scrolling stutter is not just limited to the Google Pixel 8 Pro, while it’s likely that most of Google’s flagship becomes the victim.

Moreover, Google has already acknowledged the scrolling stutter on its Pixel Phones and has fixed the issue with its solution that seems to be distributed with the upcoming Android 15 update. Android 15 is currently in its developer preview phase, but as per Google’s schedule, it’s likely that the company will roll out the Android 15 beta program somewhere in the month of April.

As mentioned, the scrolling stutter of Pixel Phones will be fixed with the upcoming Android 15, as the latest update could come with several performance optimizations, UI improvements, and other bug fixes to enhance the overall system experience. With that said, Google Pixel owners have to wait for the next Android release, though.
