Google File Is Testing Three Key Changes For ‘Nearby Share’ Tab Now

Nearby Share has already stretched out its limits with freshly added support for Windows PCs; this is quite an easy solution for sending files between devices. And according to the reports, Google Files is preparing one more redesign for the “Nearby Share” tab. This redesign will make things more easy and comfortable for the users.

If reports are to be believed, then three new changes are taking place in the File app of the Nearby Share tab, which will definitely enhance the user’s experience and facility. In March 2023, it was spotted that Google was preparing a few changes in the File app, in which Google was trying to equalise the button size of the Send and Receive buttons. According to the Google news channel, Telegram has spotted that now, the page of the Nearby Share tab will be divided into three sections.

The three new main sections of the page are mentioned below:

  1. The first section of the page is named “Receive Files”. This will activate the pending files for transfer mode, which helps the users to share their pending files from one device to another device.
  2. The second section is titled “Share to Nearby Device”. This option will show the list of the closest devices which are available for sharing the content. The users have to click on one of the devices to transfer their files or whatever they want.
  3. The third part is known as “Sharing Suggestions”. This option will help the users display current files coupled with a full-screen enlarge button and a “share” button, by which the users can easily and quickly start a file transfer process.

However, all of these changes and facilities are in progress, and not all buttons are totally functional at the moment. But it is expected that users will get these changes soon.
