Moto Announced The New Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, Introducing 144Hz pOLED Display, 5,000mah Battery And More

Motorola is popularly known for making the best budget phones while also offering amazing features and functionalities. Now, the brand has taken a step further and has been emerging as one of the leading brands within the mid-range and flagship phone market, too. With a lot of competition among several Android manufacturers, Motorola announced another smartphone within its latest and top-tier flagship Edge 50 lineup, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. 

Motorola’s Edge 50 series introduced an all-new model, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, which has some significant features and specifications that make this lineup the brand’s highly impressive series. In contrast, the latest Edge 50 Fusion comprises some stunning features and specifications, which will be launched in select market regions, including Asia, Europe, Oceania, and Latin America, respectively. 

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion: features and specifications 

The newly announced Motorola Edge 50 Fusion comes with display panels and chipsets that vary according to the region. The phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ pOLED curved display screen with a 144Hz fast refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset for the model in the regions, including the Middle East, Europe and Africa. In contrast, the Edge 50 Fusion model in Latin America receives a 6.7-inch FHD+ pOLED display screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and packs the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. 

To put forth the design of the brand’s latest flagship series, Motorola offered a stunning design for the Edge 50 Fusion. Also, the display comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection along with HDR10+ support and offers up to 1600 nits peak brightness. The phone is packed with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. 

The new Edge 50 Fusion has a 68W TurboPower fast charging support capable of charging the 5,000mAh battery pack. Regarding the camera capabilities, the phone is equipped with a dual camera setup: a 50MP primary camera with a Sony Lytia LYT-700C sensor OIS support and a 13MP ultrawide camera. On the front, the phone features a 32MP selfie shooter infused with Quad Pixel technology. 

Moreover, the other distinctive features of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion include a USB Type-C charging port, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos sound support, an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 certified for being dust and splash resistant, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity support, and NFC. Most prominently, the phone runs on the latest Android 14 out of the box, which means you will be able to customize several functions within the device the way you want. 

Price and availability: 

Sporting stunning colors, the new Edge 50 Fusion will be launched in select regions, including Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Oceania. It will be available in the coming weeks and will cost 399 Euros.
