Google always makes sure to enhance the Android ecosystem by introducing several key tweaks and features that offer great convenience to the users, simultaneously, the company is probably working on Google Messages, bringing a new and much needed option in the form of a photo preview screen for Android phones.
A few days ago, Google Messages received its own custom camera, while now, Google seems to be testing a new attachment photo preview screen that will allow users to capture pictures quickly with the help of the shortcut. As spotted with the latest Google Messages Beta 20240318_01_RC00 version update, Google has added a new Add More button that will allow users to quickly send pictures using the Messages’ inline camera.
Furthermore, the changes have just been spotted within several different Android phones, running the latest Google Messages beta version, which significantly indicate the newest update is a widespread release. In contrast, similar to the other messaging applications, including WhatsApp, Google Messages’ latest update will now allow users to preview your captured image before you hit the send button.
While taking pictures you will now get to see an inline camera, which is located within the media gallery, you will now get a new attachment photo preview screen in the form of fullscreen preview of the shot you have captured along with the flexibility to write your messages.
With that, earlier you need to choose the images by selecting them from the media compose box, also users were not allowed to see the image preview. Now, with the new update, Google has added a new Add More option separately along with a Send button, allowing to preview your selected images along with the ability to write a message with a message bar attached to the photo preview.
