What’s New With WhatsApp’s Latest Stable Update For iOS

Finally, it’s mentioned in the official changelog that now the users have the power to find and follow channels to receive updates about topics users care about right within the new updates tab. Meanwhile, What’s Pass has already revealed similar announcements in the past, but I must say this is the first time such news has appeared in the update notes.

However, some users already received this update even before it was widely rolled out. At the same time, there are still some of the other users who didn’t access channels during the initial release. It is also worth noting that this feature is unavailable on linked devices even after installing this version, as a future update is required to get channels on companion accounts.

If the users do not receive this feature, note that a few accounts may get it within the upcoming weeks, as per the indications in the official changelog. Also, they are recommended to stay ahead by regularly upgrading WhatsApp from the App Store or TestFlight app to get this feature in the future in case the users don’t receive it after installing this update.

The feature is only available for iOS users, allowing users to create, find, and follow channels.
