Google Continues With March Feature Drop Beta Testing With Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.1

On 8th February 2023, Google introduced the first developer preview for Android 14 for Pixel phones, the next major version of the world’s most popular mobile operating system, which comes with security and privacy enhancements amid user customizations. Meanwhile, the company recently announced the release of the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.1 to the AOSP and Pixel devices as part of March Feature Drops.

Moving forward, Google continues to deliver enhancements and new features throughout the year with the Feature Drops Beta testing, and the Quarterly Platform Release (QPR) beta program plays an important role in helping Android continually improve with feedback.

Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.1:

Google is rolling out the Android 13 QPR2 beta 3.1 updates for Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6 series, or Pixel 7 series device users. This new feature Drops Beta comes with various cosmetic and performance-related changes and improvements to make your user experience more optimal.

All compatible Pixel device users have been able to identify the latest Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.1 update through build version T2B3.230109.004. The Android 13 QPR2 beta 3.1 update for Pixel devices includes improvements in functionality as well as fixes to system-related issues such as Bluetooth, image Romanian translation, and more. 

Apart from all this, it also includes the February 2023 security patch for better system security and stability and also fixes general system bugs and issues. For more information, do check here.
Currently, it is only available to selected customers. If you’re already on Android 13 beta QPR2 and your device is running beta 3, you’ll automatically receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to QPR2 beta 3.1.
