Galaxy Z Flip 3, Fold 3 Get One UI 5.1.1 Update With New Features

Samsung has already rolled out One UI 5.1.1 software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, and the Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S7 series in some regions. Today, the company is expanding the One UI 5.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 in a few countries.

The One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with firmware version F926BXXU5FWH5 in Europe, while the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is getting the One UI 5.1.1 update with firmware version F711BXXU6FWH3 and F711USQU5GWH3 in Europe and US locked variant (US Cellular), respectively.

If you have a Galaxy Fold 3 and Flip 3 and are living in the above countries, you can check for the update by going to Settings, tapping on the Software Update option, and then clicking on the Download and Install option. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the latest updates.

Along with One UI 5.1.1, the update also brings the August 2023 security patch to the foldable smartphone, giving you a more secure and safe environment to access your files and data.

One UI 5.1.1 Features:

One UI 5.1.1 update comes with a customizable toolbar for the Flex Mode panel, and you can hold the buttons and drag them to set Flex Mode options as per your needs. Plus, it also brings a Window mode that allows users to open and use two apps simultaneously without interrupting media playback.

In addition to these, this update also offers the some Hidden pop-up features for Galaxy Fold 3 and Flip 3. It allows you to open apps, reposition their layout, switch between them, or assign them to split-screen multitasking with the option to hide them when you’re done.
