All the System Requirements: Windows 11 PC is compatible with Android Apps

As you know that Android application can now be used in Windows 11, which has been officially announced. But keep in mind it doesn’t work on all devices. Only those computers that meet a series of requirements stipulated by Microsoft will be able to try out the delights of Android in Windows natively.

Windows 11 PC requirements for Android Apps

Here are the minimum requirements to use Android apps on Windows 11:

  • Processor :
    • Intel Core i3 8th Gen or higher
    • AMD Ryzen 3000 or higher
    • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8c or higher
  • RAM memory :
    • 8GB minimum
    • 16GB recommended
  • Storage type :
    • Solid State Drive (SSD)
  • Processor architecture :
    • x64 or ARM64
  • Activate the virtual machine platform :

Microsoft requires an SSD to run Android applications. If you use a classic HDD hard drive, we are sorry to tell you that you will not be able to use Android apps on Windows 11.

Now, if you meet all the requirements, then you can now install any of the 1000+ Android apps available in the Microsoft Store or Amazon Appstore (Google Play is not in Windows 11). Although it must be said that, at the time of writing this article, it is required to install the latest optional update of Windows 11 to be able to use Android apps officially.

Install the Amazon Appstore

To install the Amazon Appstore, you’ll need to install it from the Microsoft Store.

Get the Amazon Appstore

After it’s finished installing, the Amazon Appstore and the Windows Subsystem for Android™ Settings app will appear in the Start menu and your app list. When you’re ready, open the Amazon Appstore and sign in with your Amazon account.
