Another Moto G-Series Phone Gets Android 13 Update

The Moto G 5G is the only Motorola G-series smartphone to receive the Android 13 software update. Now, the company has started rolling out the Android 13 update to Moto G82, another smartphone in the Moto-G series.

Talking about the new feature, Android 13 brings a flurry of new features and enhancements, which include Auto-theming icons, More Material You theming options, two clock styles on the lock screen, a new media player widget, QR scanner access from the notifications panel, Native Bluetooth LE Audio support, improved privacy and security features, in-built Fast Pair feature, and a lot more.

Last but not least, the Android update for the Moto G82 also installs the June 2023 Android security patch that addresses several privacy and security-related vulnerabilities and risks.

The company has started rolling out an Android 13 update for Moto G82 users with build number T1SU33.1-124-6. Now, the update is being rolled out in batches and is already available to some users, and will be available to all in the coming days.

As you know, this is a big upgrade, so it requires a huge amount of data to download, so you must have enough data on your smartphone. Therefore, we recommend that you connect your device to Wi-Fi to download the update.

It’s rolling out in Brazil for now, so the company should be expanding it to other regions soon. In the meantime, you can visit the Software Update section in your phone’s Settings to check whether the update has reached your phone or not.
