Android Auto is finally bringing back the ability to use Google Maps on their phone and car at the same time again. The US tech maker is rolling out a new update to the navigation experience that lets you stay focused on the road while getting places.

Previously, there was a strange restriction; if you were using Android Auto, you could not simultaneously use Google Maps on your phone and your Android Auto dashboard. But after the new update, you can simultaneously use Google Maps on Android Auto and your regular Android smartphone.

The new capability is important because Maps navigation is more detailed, showing a full list of directions, so if you have the ability to use Google Maps on your phone and car at the same time, they can assist you at the next level. 

For your information, let us tell you that this feature was first introduced in February, but the company has removed it on Android Auto. due to some unknown reason. It is being rolled out slowly for some users, and more users will get it soon in a few days or weeks.
