Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2 is now available for Google pixel

Based on the initial release of Android 14 for Pixel devices, we see that Google is continuing to update the platform with improvements and fixes that may be rolled out soon. App-impacting data is not provided in these updates. It is currently being released for testing.

This update brings the initial improvements to Android 14 QPR3, Android 14, Android 14 QPR1, and Android 14 QPR2, along with bug fixes, stability improvements, and handset performance improvements. This update is capable of fixing many of these issues.

With its help, many problems can be fixed, like sometimes the device crashes or restarts unexpectedly or crashes while updating apps after being flashed. Similarly, after booting from the flash, the device displays a blank and black screen.

Additionally, there was difficulty in using the fingerprint as it prevented the device from being unlocked. The main problem was with the “double tap to wake” feature. Additionally, battery information was sometimes not displayed correctly in system settings, the status bar, and the lock screen, which prevented device-to-device transfers and backup and restore from working. It can fix various problems affecting system stability, performance, and camera. Here is a list of the devices that will get the updates –

  • Pixel 5a
  • Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
  • Pixel 6a
  • Pixel 7 and 7 Pro
  • Pixel 7a
  • Pixel Fold
  • Pixel Tablet
  • Pixel 8 and 8 Pro
