Android 14 QPR2 Stable Update Rolling Out with March Pixel Update

  • Google is rolling out the latest Android 14 QPR2 stable update to several Pixel devices.

Google is rolling out the new stable Android 14 QPR2 update with the March Pixel Feature Drop update that brings the March 2024 security patch for several Pixel devices. The latest QPR2 Update comes with plenty of new features and bug fixes for all the eligible recent Pixel devices. 

The Pixel users will now be able to extend their Bluetooth Quick Setting Tile to significantly show up on the list of up to three devices. Besides getting information on the battery status of the currently paired devices, you will now be able to see the saved accessories and quickly switch between them. 

In terms of audio, the latest Android 14 QPR2 update brings a new Pixel Volume Slider and a new addition to the Share WiFi shortcut button within the Internet Quick Settings Tile. 

With the updated microphone and camera privacy indicators, you get a “Close this app” shortcut. This will allow you to quickly close the apps. To do so, you will see the green pill in the top right corner. 

Furthermore, Google has updated the Pixel Launcher grid, and it shows two lines of app names. In addition, the update also brings the new display symbol for Do Not Disturb or DND mode, or when you have set an alarm that will be shown by the Pixel Weather lockscreen clock.
