OnePlus: OxygenOS 13.1 Vs OxygenOS 13

OnePlus announced its latest software version earlier this month. We will discuss the comparison of OxygenOS 13.1 and OxygenOS 13 software in detail in this article and tell you the difference between the two.

OxygenOS 13 and OxygenOS 13.1 is a custom mobile skin made by OnePlus. Notably, both software are based on the Android 13 operating system and come with improved features as compared to their predecessors.

OxygenOS 13.1 vs. OxygenOS 13: Key Differences

Quick Panel:

You’ll see the same slider in OxygenOS 13.1 and OxygenOS 13, but the toggles icons differ. The toggle icon in OxygenOS 13.1 is Filled, while OxygenOS 13 comes with Outlined. On the other side, Both are identical, but the Profile icons are missing in the OxygenOS 13.1 Quick panel. The Quick Panel of OnePlus’ operating system is much more specialized than its counterparts.

Zen Mode/Zen Space:

OxygenOS 13.1 Zen Space comes with two new modes: Deep Zen and Light Zen. Deep Zen will behave in the same way as the OxygenOS 13 Zen Mode. At the same time, Light Zen enables you to step out of space at any point in time.

Furthermore, the Light Zen Mode comes with two presets: Work and Study Mode. In it, Work-Life Balance automatically populates the list of apps, which includes the first 12 used apps.

 Accessibility Menu:

The OnePlus OxygenOS 13.1 operating system shows four settings options for the Accessibility Menu’s Vision: Talkback, Select to speak, Describe images, and Text-to-speech settings.

Whereas, in OxygenOS 13, there are three options for the Accessibility Menu’s Vision. The Describe images option is not available here.

Describe images: With OxygenOS 13.1, OnePlus added a new feature called TalkBack Detail Image feature to recognize and announce ideas in apps and photos. When “Describe images” is on, the system will recognize images on the screen when you tap on them and read the image content to provide helpful information.
