Latest Update’s Detailed Information

Meta-owned WhatsApp is rolling out its latest beta update with the identification version number 2.23.19.14; the users, through the latest update with this build code, can get a new feature that offers an avatar facility during video calling. For now, the update is in its beta stage, and the interested users can get it through the Google Play Beta Program.

What’s New With WhatsApp Beta v2.23.19.14

With the latest update, the brand is introducing a video avatar calling feature which provides the facility through which the users can replace their video with effective video avatars while video calling.

So now, with this new feature, users can attend video calls anytime, anywhere, without even any hesitations. This feature indeed adds more fun and personalization to conversations, making interactions will become more expressive. Also, the users can switch back to video mode at any time without any effort.

In plain words, with this feature the users will be able to ignore the scenarios where they are not ready for the video calls when it comes and are hesitant to receive the call because the video avatar feature allows the users to use their avatar during a video call so that their face gets hidden behind the avatar. They can easily make video calls without hesitation and unsureness.

When users choose video avatar mode during their video call, the features will automatically start mimicking their facial expressions in real time which indeed makes their interactions more realistic. Noticeably, the users will get a privacy notice for agreeing to it, which will talk about how users information is used to improve the service and how it’s protected. Fortunately, the calls remain under the end-to-end encryption.

As mentioned above, the update is in the developing stage and is only available to some of the lucky beta testers. The users can get this from the Google Play Beta Program. However, it is also expected that the feature will soon be available to all through future updates.
