Samsung Galaxy One UI 6.1: Eligible Devices and Galaxy AI-Supported Models

Samsung comprises the most intuitive yet advanced custom Android Skin, the One UI, which is highly customizable and is most admired by the audience. Currently, Samsung’s latest One UI iteration, the Galaxy One UI 6.1, has taken all the limelight, as the brand has infused the skin with some advanced AI features, named the Galaxy AI, which has arrived within the latest Galaxy S24 series. A while ago, Samsung expanded the latest One UI 6.1 with the Galaxy AI to older generation Galaxy models. Read on, as here’s all you need to know.

One UI 6.1 brings several features; the Most prominent one is the Galaxy AI

Indeed, Samsung has infused the latest One UI 6.1 update with an array of interesting yet innovative features and enhancements, out of which the most prominent feature is the addition of the Galaxy AI. Well, users have been eagerly waiting for the latest One UI 6.1 update to arrive on their devices. Although Samsung initially reserved the One UI 6.1 update with the Galaxy AI to the latest Galaxy S24 series, the brand has expanded it to more older-generation Galaxy models.

Galaxy devices that are already receiving the latest One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI:

Meanwhile, Samsung has already begun rolling out the latest One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI to all the selected Galaxy models, which are also receiving all the reserved AI features along with the update. However, millions of eligible Galaxy users have already begun receiving the new One UI 6.1 update. At the same time, the majority of them are still left, as the update has been rolling out in batches, which will take time to reach all the users.

With that, here are the Galaxy models that are receiving the latest One UI 6.1 with the Galaxy AI update:

  • Galaxy S24 lineup (already arrived with the Galaxy AI alongside One UI 6.1 update)
  • Galaxy S23 lineup
  • Galaxy S23 FE
  • Galaxy Foldables:
    • Galaxy Z Fold5
    • Galaxy Z Flip5
  • Galaxy Tab S9 Series

The Galaxy AI

Moreover, the new Galaxy One UI 6.1 update brings a lot of impressive features and enhancements, but the major spotlight is the inclusion of the Galaxy AI. Samsung has infused the update with several AI-powered functionalities that will significantly help enhance the user’s experience and take their mobile convenience to the next level. These features include the new Circle to Search by Google, which allows users to search for anything and everything by drawing a circle around that object without having to switch to another app. The Live Translate offers real-time translations. There’s a Generative edit to improve the quality of your photos and videos, Generative AI Wallpapers, Note Assist on Samsung Notes, and Chat Assist, along with more essential enhancements.

Samsung has recently made it official that in addition to the last-gen Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 lineup, S23 FE, the foldable Z Fold5 and Flip5, and the tablet models, the Galaxy Tab S9 Series, respectively, other older devices will also receive the One UI 6.1 update along with Galaxy AI; they are:

  • Galaxy S22 series
  • Z Fold4, and Flip4
  • Galaxy Tab S8 series
