Release and launch updates of BGMI Lite: All you need to know
While the release of BGMI Lite is very inevitable, no formal confirmation has been provided by the creators. Krafton has been tight-lipped regarding the game’s release date.
When it comes to the light edition, popular BGMI players and influencers have been a big source of knowledge. Their tweets have given mobile game fans optimism that the game will be released shortly.
Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andhare, GodLike Esports’ coach, has always been optimistic about the release of BGMI Lite. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Esports, he stated:
“Players can expect good news with regards to the release of BGMI Lite really soon. It might arrive by the end of December or sooner!”

According to the aforesaid remark, players may anticipate BGMI Lite to be released in 2021. However, this should be taken with a grain of salt because Krafton has not issued an official confirmation.

Krafton’s latest survey was the first formal endorsement for BGMI Lite. Players had twenty-four hours to vote and may select any of the following options:
- I can’t play BGMI on my low-end device.
- I can play BGMI, but I’ll have better frame rates and performance in LITE version on my device.
- I spent money in LITE version and want to transfer my data/inventory.
- I like the maps and Skins in Lite version
This development lights a hint towards the making of the game and its likely release by 2022.
