Google Pay Brings a New Open Wallet Shortcut for Android Users

Google just refreshed its payment service app, Google Pay, with a verification tweak that will ask users for their authentication more frequently. In contrast, Google Pay introduced a new shortcut named Open Wallet for Android users.

The Necalledn Wallet shortcut will allow Android users to quickly access their past transaction details

With the new Open Wallet shortcut, Google is upgrading its payment application and significantly aims to offer users more quick access to all their past transactions and location details. Google Pay for Android now adds a new interface consisting of a new Open Wallet shortcut, conveniently placed right at the bottom of the phone’s screen.

Meanwhile, earlier, Google Pay’s tap-to-pay interface primarily showcased the user’s debit and credit cards, with the GPay logo placed just above them. Moreover, this new addition of the Open Wallet shortcut to Google Pay’s interface will significantly help users quickly access all the information about their past transactions on the go, offering more convenience.

In comparison, Apple Pay has a feature similar to Google Pay’s Open Wallet shortcut. On double tapping, all the details regarding the user’s default payment methods are opened at the top, while all other stored cards are placed below for quick access and switching among them when needed.
