How To Edit Post On Threads? 

Meta’s text-sharing application, Threads, is getting even better by bringing several interesting features and updates for the users; the edit post feature is one of them. Recently, Meta has announced a new Edit Post feature along with releasing Voice Threads features. These two major new features will certainly help Meta to grow X-like social networks. In contrast, like X, you don’t have to pay a fee in order to edit your Threads posts for five minutes after being published.

The Edit Post feature has finally been added to Threads. This new feature allows users to edit their posts up to 5 minutes after publishing it on the platform,; if the five minutes gets over, it will immediately get blocked. Additionally, this new Edit Post feature seamlessly works on both the mobile app and the web and is already live for certain users

From correcting a simple spelling mistake to adding extra Text to a post, the company is bringing you the Edit post feature, offering users more control over their posts. Furthermore, Meta has also introduced the Voice Threads feature alongside Edit post, which allows users to attach an audio clip to their posts.

How To Edit Posts On Threads? 

Following the simple steps mentioned below, you can easily edit your posts on Threads:

  • If by mistake you have sent a wrong post or have made any mistake, after posting, just tap on the Three dots button, which is next to your sent post.
  • From the pop-up dialog box at the bottom, choose the Edit option.
  • Do note that after sending a post, you can edit the accidentally sent post for up to 5 minutes only. 
  • Once you have edited your post, select the Post option, and it’s done. 

Threads

Meta has introduced its latest app, Threads, a new way of sharing content with Text. It’s built for sharing text updates and joining public conversations. This Meta-owned application allows you to log in to the Threads using your Instagram account and can post texts up to 500 characters long, including links, photos, and videos up to 5 minutes in length.
