Oppo has finally started its ColorOS 14 based on the Android 14 beta program for Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G devices. So now, the users are able to participate in the beta program. The company already started the same beta program for other devices, including OPPO A77 and Reno 9 Pro.
The company clearly mentioned that the owners of OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G devices receding in India are only eligible to participate in ColorOS 14 based on the Android 14 beta program. Also, in the scenario where the owners are not eligible for this program, they are recommended to wait, as the company will offer other opportunities in the future.
OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G Android 14 x ColorOS 14 Details
ColorOS 14, based on the Android 14 beta program, got started. The company allotted a time limitation from October 10 to October 12. The owners of Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G are recommended to hurry up because the quota for the program is only 5,000 users. Also, the users must make sure that their device must be updated to the detectable version number, which is CPH2357_13.1.0.590(EX01). This beta program permits the users to try out the latest features, improvements and changes of Oppo’s custom Android skin.

Known Issues
The users must note that this is the latest ColorOS 14, so it’s possible that it may include some known bugs, instability and incompatibility. So, join the program at their own risk of beta versions. For now, the company mentioned three known issues, which are mentioned below;
- While adjusting the retouch parameter with the front camera, the progress bar does not appear.
- It failed to close the default media player in the Control Center.
- There’s less possibility of showing half the screen and then turning into full screen while switching the app.
