It also introduces the capability to react with an emoji to certain pictures, videos, and reviews from users. By introducing these features within Google Maps, the company makes sure that users will get all the convenience and to improve the users improve their travel experience.
A New Filter For Driving Directions
With new transit directions, Google Maps will now provide you with recommendations on the basis of the best routes, shortest transfers, shortest walks, wheelchair accessible, and lowest cost. The app can detect entrances and exits from transit stations so you can’t enter the wrong train. And with that, this feature is going to be available in over 80 regions, which includes Berlin, London, New York, Singapore, Paris and Toronto.
A Shared Collaborative Listing Is Here
Another new feature that’s added to Maps is Collaborative listings. This feature allows users to create a list, which can be shared among others through a link. It also offers the ability to add certain locations and notes. With the ability to poll for the user’s favourite travel destination, Maps has provided five emojis to react to certain destinations.
The Addition To The Emoji Reaction
Finally, by adding emoji reactions, Maps allows users to react to pictures, videos and reviews with their favourite emojis using Google’s Emoji Kitchen. By adding these features to Google Maps, the company clearly indicates that Maps will gradually be transformed into a social platform.
In addition, other features within Google Maps include offering more ways to search for charging stations, the capability to plan the trip with certain eco-friendly routes, looking for stops along the way for last moment works, and choosing toll-free routes.
