Samsung started spreading its latest One UI 5.1.1 update based on Android 13 for its Galaxy devices. It has already provided this update to its few devices. At the moment, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are Catching the new One UI 5.1.1 update alongside the August 2023 security patch. The update is now available for locked variants in the US on the Verizon network.
What’s Improving –
The update has brought many new features and facilities for improving the device’s functionality and enhancing the user experience. One UI 5.1.1 brings improvement and recent changes in Flex Mode, Multi-Window, Gallery, Samsung Health, Connectivity and many more.
Flex Mode Panel – Samsung, by this update, offers a button to display or hide the flex mode panel. The drag-and-drop toolbar also gets more customization, and more applications get eligibility to support the flex mode panel. Users can now rewind or fast forward for music or videos with a single tap.
Multi Window – Multi-Window also gets lots of changes; for instance, app arrangement on the Recents screen gets improved. With this update, the users can easily drag and drop the launch multi-window or pop-up view. Also, it offers two-handed drag-and-drop functionality eligibility.
Quick Share – Quick Share facility also gets enhanced with this new One Ui 5.1.1 update, for which the company added Private Sharing to set time limitations as well as protect recipients by resharing files. It also added a facility to share contacts to search the user’s contacts and share files quickly.
Other Improvements – The Taskbar can show up to four recent apps. In the Gallery, the improvements include the facility for the watermark. The users can add more date or time styles. Also, it provides copy or past effects, and the update added a focus view to highlight individuals. Samsung Health also gets upgraded functionalities such as sleep management, health monitoring metrics and many more. The connectivity functionality also gets enhanced.
