Samsung is rolling out February 2022 security update for Galaxy S9

It was almost a month ago when Samsung rolled out the January 2022 security patch, and now they are releasing their February 2022 security patch. When they started to roll out the latest update, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series were the first ones to get it. Samsung is gradually availing it through out the globe. Samsung is now rolling out the the February 2022 security patch update for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.

The latest Samsung February 2022 security patch comes with a firmware version G960NKSU5FVA2 for the Galaxy S9 and on the other hand the Galaxy S9+ comes with a firmware version G965NKSU5FVA2. Though this latest February 2022 security patch is available for South Korean users only, we can say that Samsung will make it available worldwide pretty soon!!

If you are from South Korea and you have the Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ you can now download and install this latest update using the following steps written below:

Menu key – Settings – About phone – Software updates – Check for Updates – Download and Install update

This latest security patch update will make your phone more secure and provide you a better user experience.This latest update Galaxy devices provides you fixes for a handful of security issues and exploits including 2 critical issues, 29 high risk issues and 15 moderate for better device stability. Once you download and install this update, you will be able to see a great change in your over all over experience
