Android 14: Samsung Devices That May Get Early Access To One UI 6.0

Earlier last month, Google expanded the Android 14 beta to select non-Pixel flagship devices from partner brands. On the flip side, Samsung is skipping the Android beta program while the new OS is available for iQOO, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Nothing, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, and Vivo. Meanwhile, we cam expect that Samsung may start the One UI 6.0 Early Access Beta program for eligible Galaxy devices sometime after the official launch of the new operating system.

According to the testing schedule, Google will release Beta 4 and 5 in July. Furthermore, the stable Android 14 OS will reach the smartphone by August. Giving some leeway in the timeline, the Korean tech giant will start One UI 6.0 Early Access Beta testing for Samsung devices.

Not much has been revealed about Samsung’s upcoming One UI 6.0 update, but we’ve got a few hints that the Samsung could begin beta testing of One UI 6.0 running on next month. In the meantime, we have managed to get a list of Samsung devices eligible for the One UI 6.0 Early Access Beta race in the coming months.

Recalling the One UI 5.0 beta rollout, Samsung’s latest Galaxy S23 series will be the first series to get the One UI 6.0 Early Access update. Later, the company will expand the beta testing program to the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series alongside the upcoming and older foldable smartphones.

As per the previous track, Samsung may announce the stable One UI 6.0 version in October 2023. Last year, the Korean manufacturer launched the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta program in early August 2022 launch. After taking almost three months to achieve stability through its beta testing, the company managed to roll out the official One UI 5.0 firmware in late October.
