Android 14 Will Permits To Add URLs Of Share Screenshots

Google is this close to setting the stage on fire with its upcoming mobile operating system “Android 14”. It is highly expected that it might take the platform early next month. But before it takes its stable stage, new information is rolling out, which indicates that the latest OS version will allow automatically adding a web page URL to a screenshot of the same site.

As per the reports on the Patreon account, Android giant Mishaal Rahman reveals that Google will offer the facility to the users to add the URL of a web page to a screenshot of that same site. If this is true, then this will be one of the biggest improvements of Android 14 in the era of screenshots.

Until now, while sharing a screenshot of a web page, the web address of that page was not included, which leads to a kind of inconvenience to the users, by which they could only know about the information seen in the screenshot. But now the company has solved this problem through this new functionality.

Now, when the users on their device running on Android 14 go to share a screenshot of a web page, the sharing menu will offer them the choice to automatically include the URL of that web page. Hence, this facility will make it easier and comfortable for grantees to directly access the original content without needing additional searches or queries.

Moreover, this fantastic feature will use a similar API, which powers the URL-sharing feature on Pixel and ASUS phones, which means it will be able to work with well-known applications such as Chrome and YouTube.
