WhatsApp Improves The Audio & Video Group Calls For Mac Users

WhatsApp introduced a new, modern, and improved application for Mac users, by which they will get the facility of group calling for the first time. This will enhance the user’s group calling experience. Mac users with the new WhatsApp are eligible to make group calls from their Mac, which will support up to 8 participants in video calls, with 32 participants in the audio calls.

A post on “X” (Twitter) shared by @WhatsApp, an official platform account, revealed that the brand for Mac users just introduced a new application on the desktop. Also, now, users of Mac are allowed to make audio and video group calls while keeping their chats synced and encrypted across devices.

As per the reports, Mac users can join a group call even after it has started, view their call history, and receive incoming call notifications even after the app is closed. The platform’s aim behind introducing a newly designed WhatsApp application for Mac is to make it easier and more user-friendly for the users so they can quickly and easily navigate and use it on a bigger screen.

Now, the users also get the ability to drag and drop files directly into a chat and also be able to see more of their chat history. Apart from this, it is also revealed that, while using the app on any device, WhatsApp assures that its Mac app also helps users to keep their messages and calls more private with end-to-end encryption. For now, this new app for downloading is available on WhatsApp.com, and soon, it will be available in the App Store.
