The renowned Chinese tech manufacturer Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone model, the Xiaomi 14 series, on 26 October at the launch event held in China. It’s the brand’s flagship series and consists of two models, namely, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. While initially, the launch event took place in its home town, China, all Xiaomi fans worldwide can expect this latest flagship series to reach other region’s markets, including India, very soon.

Following the official launch, the Xiaomi 14 series packs several impressive features and the most prominent feature which makes this flagship series stand out is the inclusion of the next-gen energy-efficient Qualcomm’s latest processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This will be Xiaomi’s first model to feature the HyperOS operating system, which is based on Android 14.
To those unaware, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset was first unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit 2023. In this Summit, Xiaomi President Lu Weibing showcased Xiaomi fans with an initial look at the upcoming series and also described the details of this processor’s capabilities.

Entirely packed with robust AI features, this latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset perfectly caters to Xiaomi’s decision to incorporate this processor into its upcoming Xiaomi 14 series. As mentioned, the Xiaomi 14 series has arrived in two models, namely, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. The Xiaomi 14 is priced at CNY 3999 (Rs. 50,000 approximately) for the 8GB+ 256GB variant, CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs. 48,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, CNY 4,599 ( Rs. 52,000 approximately) for the 16GB + 512GB model, CNY 4,999 ( Rs. 56,000 approximately) for the 16GB + 1TB variant.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Pro model comes with a price starting at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 56,500) for the 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB variants: CNY 5,499 ( Rs. 62,000 approximately), 16GB + 1TB: CNY 5,999 ( Rs. 68,200 approximately), CNY 6,499 ( Rs. 74,000 approximately) for the 16GB + 1TB model.
