Android 14 among Android enthusiasts is a hot topic; after a long wait, Google finally rolled out this major update to its Pixel device. The update has arrived with lots of new major features, improvements, and changes for enhancing the user experience. Unfortunately, the update, along with a wide variety of new convenience increments, also brings an issue regarding device storage.

Since the Pixel owners upgraded their devices with the latest Android 14 major update, they are inconvenienced and experiencing storage issues. Instead of getting enhanced experience and seamless performance, users are facing issues. On behalf of this trouble, the brand Google checked over the issue and stated that as soon as possible, the company will fix it.

In the upcoming update, Google will fix these storage issues, which are appearing on Pixel 6 and all the newer devices. However, for now, the company is already starting to roll out the fix update, but only for testing.

Meanwhile, the brand ‘Google’ was also aware of a problem a couple of days ago and assured the users to roll out an update to fix the affected units. In contrast, the best solution being thrown around was to perform a complete factory data reset. However, this is not the exact solution the affected users wanted to hear, but for now, this is better than nothing.

It is reported that the next update will arrive by next week, and it is expected that the update will be a countable one. Google will release its OTA, which is dubbed a Test update, as only devices that have signed up to get it will appear in the download.

The users must note that the storage access issue affects devices with various users, which includes guest profiles, restricted profiles, and child profiles. So, till the OTA update becomes available to the user’s device, the company is recommending avoiding logging into a secondary user on the device.
