Google August 2023 Security Update Arrived

Google has started rolling out the August 2023 Android security update for the Pixel 7 and its smaller brothers, as well as the Pixel foldable and tablet. This release comes with many bugs and release solutions to provide stability to the software system.

As mentioned in the changelog, the Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet’s August 2023 security update, fixes the occasionally causing Bluetooth keyboards to not connect. In addition, the OTA also resolves Fix for issues occasionally causing flickering or glitches while in Hub Mode.

In addition, some live wallpapers displaying incorrectly in different device orientations for Pixel Fold are also being fixed. Notably, the company has also fixed the issue of the lock screen not responding at times and the home screen launcher is not registering search input.

In addition, Google has published patch details indicating that the 2023-08-05 or later security patch level addresses all issues in this bulletin and all issues in the August 2023 Android Security Bulletin.
