Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Appears On Geekbench Before Launch

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will take the floor in October. According to information, some mobile manufacturers already started testing it. It is revealed that A prototype with the SoC went through Geekbench, indicating a vast 5,977 multi-core score. Compared to the result of the second-gen Qualcomm chipset, it will provide 20% more.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has come to the surface Geekbench listing running on Nubia phone with the support of Android 14, 12GB RAM and NX769J model number. The reports indicate that single-core points of 1596 and multi-core points of 5977 issues, which is much less than the leaks that arrived earlier, showed 2233 single-core and 6661 multi-core points of supposed Galaxy S24+.

As per the reports of well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, this is an initial score and might differ in the final stable version. It also displays 2 Cores clocked @ 2.27 GHz, 5 Cores @ 2.96 GHz and 1 Core @ 3.19 GHz.

Jumping on the earlier leaks, it was revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650) SoC will get the latest 1+5+2 building design, weighing up to 1+2+2+3 set up in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Based on all these rumours, this was stated to arrive with a more effective performance core and higher frequency and also used the TSMC N4P process.

It is also stated that the chip will use a prime core – 1 x Cortex-X4, performance cores – 5 x A720, power efficiency cores – 2 x A520 and Adreno 750 GPU. All of these changes will definitely bring significant improvements in the performance compared to the previous version.

Moreover, it is also expected that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will take the floor one month before the general launching schedule at the sixth annual Snapdragon Tech Summit, which will be held from October 24 to 26, a month ahead of the usual time.

The noticeable fact is that the Xiaomi 14 series will luckily be the first device that will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC when it is announced in November. Apart from this, Vivo X100, iQOO 12, Redmi K70 Pro, OnePlus 12, Red Magic 9 and many more series are expected to be powered by this latest chipset.
