While most phones are still running the security update from last year, OnePlus has made the OnePlus 10R series and Nord CE 2 the first Android phone to receive the January 2023 security update with the new firmware update.
OnePlus community reports that the OnePlus 10R, 10R Endurance Edition, and Nord CE 2 smartphone users in India can install the latest monthly security firmware update with version numbers CPH2423_11_C.16, CPH2411_11_C.16, and IV2201_11_C.10, respectively. The update includes the latest January 2023 security patch but no feature updates.
The OnePlus 10R smartphone currently runs on the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 operating system, while Nord CE 2 smartphone users are waiting for the latest OxygenOS 13 update. And the latest patch improves the aspects of this smartphone with the latest security solutions.
