The brand launched its very first foldable phone named the OnePlus Open. I must say it was too-hyped even before its launch. Here, we are discussing all the details about the OnePlus Open. OnePlus Open: Key Specification 

The OnePlus Open has launched on its fixed schedule in India. The brand has introduced two variants, Emerald Dusk, and Voyager Black variant, and features them with lots of top specifications and features. 

Emerald Dusk Variant: Design 

While folded, the Emerald Dusk variant is 11.7 mm thick, and when it is unfolded, it has 5.8 mm thickness. The weight of this Voyager Black variant is around 245 g.

Voyager Black Variant: Design 

On the other hand, the Voyager Black variant has a thickness of 11.9 mm; when it is unfolded, it will be 5.9 mm thick. The weight of this Voyager Black is nearly 239 g. 

The height of both the variants of this foldable ‘Open’ is 153.4 mm tall, along with a width of 143.1 mm when unfolded and 73.3 mm when folded. 

Display Specifications 

The OnePlus Open features a 7.82-inch Flexi-fluid AMOLED primary display along with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 2800 units. Additionally, the display has a resolution of 2440 x 2268 pixels with 426 ppi. On the flip side, the secondary display, which is the outer display, is 6.31 inches and has 2K resolution & 431 ppi. 

Camera Specifications 

The company has blessed its first foldable device with a top-notch camera setup, which includes a Primary 48 MP camera with Sony’s LYT-T808 “Pixel Stacked” CMOS sensor along with OIS. The second one is a 64 MP telephoto camera, and the third is a 48 MP ultra-wide camera. The camera offers a facility to record videos in 4K quality with 60 FPS. 

On the opposite side, the front camera is a 20 MP primary camera paired with a 32 MP secondary camera. Also, the features of the front camera include Face unlock, Nightscape Selfie, Selfie HDR, Time-lapse, Dual-view video, and many more. 

Processor & OS

The brand OnePlus has powered its first foldable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and runs on the all-new OxygenOS 13.2 based on Android 13 out of the box. 

Battery Specification 

The company has offered it a 4,805 mAh battery along with the support of 67W fast charging. The brand has also assured that the battery can reach from 1 to 100% in just 42 minutes and result in more than one day of use, even on a single charge.

The brand OnePlus has finally launched its first foldable device named OnePlus Open, which is available in two color variants; 

  • Emerald Dusk 
  • Voyager Black 

The company has set the price range at Rs 1,39,999 in India. It has a memory package of 16GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage. 

  • The OnePlus Open will go on sale on October 27.
