Google recently announced a few new updates to some of its services, adding new features and extending on the existing ones. At the same time, Google is here with yet another update in order to make the sharing of documents a little faster in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
With the collaboration of Docs, Sheets, and Slides, Google is adding a new Share option in order to make sharing quick. Google is bridging the sharing feature in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides so that it’s easier for users to seamlessly share their files and documents across the Google Workspace. With that, the latest update introduces a new Share option while integrating it with a drop-down menu, further expanding in order to offer some quick actions, including pending access requests and Copy Link.
Google is currently rolling it out, making it available in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides for Google Workspace customers and for users with personal Google Accounts. Do note that the Sharing button feature is currently rolling out gradually, and it will take a few weeks to be rolled out to everyone soon.
Additionally, Google is soon going to introduce a new feature that will allow users to easily share documents in Google Drive with meeting participants in Google Calendar.
