Google not only pays attention to the new and advanced features of smartphones but also pays attention to small things that win the users’ hearts. And at the moment, it has come back with a bang-like update, by which the company has redesigned the Google account switcher tab for web applications, including some UI tweaks and Material You design.
Previously, the Google Account switcher tab appeared, displaying a profile picture at the top, below the user’s name and email address. Then there were three icons in the line, the first Google Password Manager, the second Payment Method and the third Addresses and More. And the round corners of the profile pictures were visible on the white background colour.
Now, with this latest redesigned Google Account switcher tab update, various changes will surely enhance the user’s experience, and it is attractive enough. Now Google Account is front and centre, showing the email address and, below that, the user’s profile picture in rounded corners. The “Manage your Google Account” appears ‘pill-shaped’ instead of a rounded rectangle.
Apart from all this, the other change occurring with this update is now below the Manage your Google Account; two options will appear in one line, where the first add account option will be, sign out next to it.
Now the noticeable and interesting fact is that there is enough space, and all the options will appear broadly and clearly; the Google Account switcher is quite larger than its previous version in both height as well as width. So for the users, it will be easy and quick to use. And colour shades also have shifted to be slightly darker.
