Google Messages For Wear OS Permits You To Send Voice Memos

The voice memo is currently gaining a lot of popularity and remains the subject of discussion. The reason behind this is that voice memos have many benefits, depending on the users and scenarios. It also helps send messages more efficiently and quicker. Now, Google Messages is introducing the ability to record and send to the Wear OS application due to its instant popularity and convenience.

Now, Messages for Wear OS allows users to record and send voice messages from their wrist without using the phone. However, Google has yet to introduce a new UI for this feature so that it can know how it will run or how its interface will be, but it is expected that in the coming few weeks, it will be available to everyone. The interface for conversation will be tweaked to add a dedicated switch.

Meanwhile, it is not clear yet whether users will get the ability to listen to audio on their watch with this latest update or not. Playback is not supported, and the users are led to “View file on the phone.” The genuine need is voice message transcription, which is, fortunately, available on phones today. This ability arrived as WhatsApp for Wear OS-supported voice memos debuted with a devoted tile.

Moreover, a significant revamp of the voice recorder UI on Android smartphones has been spotted. The few new Wear OS features that Google came down in favour of highlight today include Google Maps for Wear OS, which will consist of convenient information about places, such as opening hours or rating information of the tourist place. It is also spotted that Google is expanding support for Google Wallet on the user’s wrist in new regions, which include Albania, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Isle of Man, Greenland, Faroe Islands, San Marino, and Colombia.
