Google Assistant is getting the latest AI-powered update that helps users to stay on top of what’s most important right from their smartphones at the “Made By Google” event, which is the annual hardware launch event, where the company used to reveal the latest exciting updates, introduced Assistant with Bard.
Google stated that: “We introduced Assistant with Bard, a personal assistant powered by generative AI.”
Google is introducing a personal assistant powered by generative AI. Basically, it merges the generative of Bard and reasoning capabilities with the Assistant’s personalized help. With this innovation, generative AI is making a better opportunity to build an extra intuitive, intelligent, personalized digital assistant.
One which extends beyond voice understands and is able to make adjustments to users, and handles personal tax in new manners. Now, users can easily interact with it even through text, voice, or images; apart from this, it also helps in taking action for users. The company also stated that in the upcoming months, users will be able to access it on Android and iOS mobile devices.
Google is developing Assistant with Bard to be an extra personalized helper, which integrates with a few of the Google services the users are already using, for instance, Gmail and Docs. This leads to making things even easier to stay on top of the most important things in their life.
On Android gadgets, the company is working to develop extra contextually useful and helpful experiences right on users’ smartphones. However, for more than the last seven years, the brand Google Assistant has helped millions of people get things done in an actual, natural, conversational manner, such as setting alarms, asking for weather updates, sending messages, or even making quick calls, and all of these with just a simple “Hey Google.”
Now, with this new upgrade, Assistant with Bard will use the images as a visual cue, be aware of the context, and help with what the users need. This conversational lamination is a completely latest scheme to interact with their phones.
And just similar to both Bard and Assistant, the company will be built with users’ privacy in mind, making sure that they can choose their privacy settings.
Moreover, a company mentioned that Assistant with Bard is an early experiment, so it is rolling out this to early testers soon just to get their feedback before announcing it to the public over the next few months.
