Samsung Released November 2022 Security Update For Galaxy Watch 4 To Fix Issues

A few days ago, Samsung released a software update for the Galaxy Watch 4 in various markets with the R870XXU1GVI3. After updating this update, users of Galaxy Watch 4 faced some problems. For these issues, the company has started rolling out a new software update for Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch users.

The new firmware update is being sent for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic in the United States and other regions. This update comes with the software version number R8xxXXU1GVK4 and supports the Android /Wear 11 operating system.

As per the information, this latest update comes with some fixes and improvements to the problems encountered with the previous GV13 update, but some users still report that their smartwatch has stopped after installing the new GVK4 update. Besides, this update also installs the November 2022 Android security patch for better security of the device.

Meanwhile, the update’s changelog says that the latest November 2022 update improves the stability and reliability of the smartwatch in order to maintain the user’s experience and further deliver a seamless performance.

Moreover, this update also applied the Power operation-related stabilization code for fixing battery run-out issues that arrived with the previous update. Apart from this, the official changelog does not mention any other noticeable features and changes.

What’s New:

  • Improved system stability and reliability
  • A power operation-related stabilization code has been applied.
  • As errors may occur during the update, please back up any important data before proceeding.
  • How to back up : Galaxy Wearable – Watch settings – Account and backup – Back up data

However, this update may accrue some errors during the update, so we recommend that you back up your personal data before the software update to prevent data loss.
